ENERGICOTEL contracted Century Engineering Contractors to perform the Engineering, Design, Procurement and Construction works.

The works included among others, the Design works, Preparatory works, Construction of access road and connected bridge, Construction of upgraded headrace canal and river diversion, intake structure and sand trap, rehabilitation and protection of Keya penstock (water pipeline of 1,200 mm of diameter), Replacement of defaulted control equipment’s (drain valve, water level sensors, charge voltage regulator)

Construction of retaining walls around the intake structures locations which were in the danger of collapsing due to the damages caused by heavy rains, Covering different critical parts of the water channel to prevent accidents and other activities by the local people, Rehabilitation and upgrading of canal and forebay tank, health & safety plan development, etc…
