Kigali Ring 110 kV Transmission Line

The project consisted of construction of new 110 kV transmission line from the existing Jabana Substation to a new 110kV/30 kV substation to be constructed at Gahanga. This new line and the Gahanga substation will allow a reliable distribution of electrical energy in Kigali Town.

 

The works consisted  of conducting the detailed topographic study of the lien and establishing the line route, pegging of the towers foundations locations, construction of the power foundations, installation and assembling of the line towers equipment and tower erection.
